The recently celebrated Women’s Day was the perfect occasion for Galeria Tęcza to organise a unique initiative. During the two-day event, the team from Kalisz collected hair for wigs for people after chemotherapy.

– Every eligible person could donate their hair. We took a photo before and after the makeover so it was a nice souvenir for many adult ladies, but also for younger girls – says Karolina Tempka from the marketing department of Galeria Tęcza.

And she adds that the interest was really great. A total of 28 people donated this precious gift, and at times queues formed for the haircuts.

– This was the first such action in Galeria Tęcza, but we received a very positive feedback. Those who didn’t catch on now, because their hair was too short, immediately announced that they would come back next year – says Karolina.
